This is Cassie!

 

She became a licensed cosmetologist in 2000 after attending Lyle’s College of beauty right here in Bakersfield, California. 

 

Prior to pursuing a career in the beauty industry, she formerly worked for several years in the dental field. Upon realizing her innate desire to be creative and artistically expressive, she made the decision to pursue a new path. Her artistic ability infused with new technical skills and fundamental knowledge morphed her into a reputable hairdresser. Once she began to experience substantial growth and development in her personal business as a stylist, ideas of becoming a salon owner emerged. In 2009 she decided to purchase what was formerly known as Salon Salon. Although the name has stayed the same, what the salon represents has continued to transform into a thriving business full of potential. People come from all over and are so faithful in supporting this local small business. She is proud of the staff which she refers to as her team and envisions many more years of movement and flow within the walls of what they’ve come to consider a home away from home. 

 

Cassie’s desire to see people grow personally and professionally makes her a great leader. She loves learning new things and has a passion for continued education. She has partnered with the Paul Mitchell brand simply because of their dedication to professional hairdressers, their love for education, and their beautiful culture. She looks for leaders to follow who inspire her to level up. She is driven, dedicated, and strongly feels that having integrity in all things is nonnegotiable. 

 

Something people may not know about her is that she’s a singer and musician who enjoys leading people into worship at her church or special events. She loves having people around her table. She enjoys food, telling stories, or playing games with friends and family. 

 

She has built her life on the guidance and words of wisdom from her parents and their example of trust in God. She continues to stand on these words.
